Why Jesus had to have two Natures.

Why Jesus had to have two Natures.  The doctrine of Jesus having two natures is what in theological terms is referred to as the Hypo-static union. This, to be explained means that He had or currently has (in Heaven at right hand of the Father) both a divine and Human nature. To put it precisely is that He came to earth and added Flesh onto His divine nature and thereby become God incarnate, God in Human Flesh or the God-Man. In short Jesus Christ was and is fully God and fully Man. Now these two nature existed along side each other without mixture and confusion. If there were ever mixture, then He would cease to be fully God and  fully Human. He would be an alien of some sort. Being not fully Man would mean that He cannot identify with Us and therefore does not look like us. And on the other hand if He is not Fully God, then He could not do the things that only God could do; namely save us from our Sins. But the scripture teach that He was fully God and Fully Man....

EXPOSITION OF THE DECALOGUE- Exodus 20:3.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.   We are beginning our series on the exposition of the Ten Commandments from the Old Testament book of Exodus, Chapter 20. This Decalogue was given to the Moses to take for the Children of Israel as they were soon to enter the Promised Land. Before this point, they had wondered in the wilderness for forty years after coming out of bondage in Egypt. The reason was because of failing to, by faith go in and posses the Land. So punishment given by God was for them to hang out in the desert until all that generation of unbelief that came out of Egypt had died except for the two adults Joshua and Caleb. It is their children who would go in to posses the Land. And so now God was making a covenant, an agreement with them just before they entered the land flowing with milk and honey.
